How will we achieve the vision of the future? This phase develops the draft Comprehensive Plan document and establishes an action plan of strategies and priorities for achieving goals and policies of the Plan.
During this phase of the process, the planning team with gather and develop the following information:

Implementation Strategies
This working paper will draw upon the various goals and policies of the plan to convey the specific implementation actions for the County to take and prioritizes those actions to provide additional guidance. -
Final Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan will contain numerous chapters organized by subject to set forth the vision, goals, policies, land use plan, and implementation strategies in one concise document. Background and context information for the plan will be contained in the appendices. -

The Comprehensive Plan will be reviewed and revised by numerous parties including the Citizens’ Advisory Committee, elected and appointed officials, Technical Advisory Committee, and the public before moving forward for official adoption by the County Planning and Development Council and Board of County Commissioners.
